Bolivia and Peru will play two friendly matches and the first is scheduled to be held on November 19 of this year in the city of Santa Cruz. The information was confirmed by the president of the Bolivian Football Federation (FBF), Fernando Costa.
The negotiations between the FBF and its counterpart in Peru they came to fruition and in the absence of a friendly, two were scheduled, since the rematch will be played in the Inca country in 2023.
“We are going to play with Peru on November 19 in Santa Cruz and then we will return the visit in June of next year,” Costa told the media in the city of La Paz.
The game will be played one day before the start of the Qatar 2022 World Cup and one week after the closing tournament of the Professional Division of Bolivian soccer.
Gustavo Costas, who currently directs Palestino de Chile, will debut as DT de la Verde officially in that match, because in the friendly against Senegal, played in France on September 24, Pablo Escobar was in charge of the national team.
Costas will have all the players who play in our midst at his disposal, since the Closing tournament is scheduled to ends on November 11.
The FBF has proposed to organize lthe more games of preparation for the senior team with the aim of reaching the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in the best possible conditions.
