Bolivia adds 1,125 cases and 17 deaths due to the coronavirus

Bolivia registered 1,125 new cases of Covid-19 this Thursday, according to the report from the Ministry of Health. The report also shows that on this day there were 17 deaths due to the virus.

Official data show that Santa Cruz confirmed 559 positives; La Paz, 156; Tarija, 159; Cochabamba, 134; Chuquisaca, 57; Potosí, 20; Oruro, 18; Pando, 14; and Beni, eight.

With the 1,125 new infections, the country adds 533,756 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic. In addition, until this day, active cases are estimated at 24,803.

According to the report, this Thursday 461 people defeated the virus and the total recovered rises to 489,832.

The 17 confirmed deaths on this day bring the total number of deaths registered since March 2020 to 19,121. According to the Ministry of Health, in this fourth wave the fatality rate is 0.8%.
