Marcelo Claure woke up this Tuesday very active on social networks. After Bolívar defeated The Strongest in the League Classic, the La Paz president argued about the modification of the day on which Oriente should receive the celestial ones, and he also announced the date for the start of construction of the stadium.
“My dear partners, See you in Tembladerani on August 1st at 5:00pm”, began one of his two tweets about the new stadium. Claure’s meeting with the Bolivarian partners will be to “begin the construction of the new stadium and then go together to Siles in a caravan” (for the match against Athletico Paranaense)
After a few minutes, Marcelo expanded with another tweet indicating that hopes “to add many new partners who want to see their names on the first wall that we will display on August 1, with the names of platinum and gold members.
The start of works (collapse) was held on December 3, 2022, and more than seven months later the announcement of the start of construction fell.
According to what was reported last December, the project will maximize capacity through a structural system of massive pillars that raise the field and grandstand some 3 meters above their current level. Design “seeks to mark a milestone in the urban fabric of La Paz”, mentioned in the Archdaily portal, which made a report on the construction of the stadium, and which was shared by Marcelo Claure, president of the institution.
“The future sports field has the capacity to host concerts and will have restaurants, shops and venues of events with autonomous operation that seek to prolong the activity of the building beyond match days”, they elaborated from the same portal.
The stadium is expected finish its construction in 2025, centenary year of the La Paz academy.
