After a year in Belgium, Ramiro Vaca returned to the country to wear the Bolívar shirt. The national team midfielder arrived at Beerschot on August 24, 2021. He played at the end of the season in which his club was relegated, and now he played the first half of the current campaign in the Belgian second division.
Ramiro played 14 games, seven as a starter, and was able to score one goal and provide five assists in 43 official matches. “It did not meet expectations” says the Belgian portal Gazet Van Antwerpen.
Ramiro had a contract with the European club until mid-2024, but since he did not have great weight in the starting squad, both parties looked for a better option for the future.
The same Belgian portal points out that the player has already passed the medical examinations and reports that the cost of the operation would be about 150,000 euros, plus a percentage of any possible future resale.
The steering wheel will return to Bolivia, and more precisely to La Paz, since his time at The Strongest is what opened the door to the old continent. Vaca went through Quebracho in 2018, The Strongest until 2021, and his last year at the Belgian Beerschot.
