San José de Ocoa. – The prominent political leader Ángel Bolívar Díaz, former candidate for mayor in the municipality of San José de Ocoa, announced his move to the People’s Force (FP) along with an important group of local leaders.
The swearing-in was led by the president of the party and leader of the opposition, Leonel Fernández, in an act in which Díaz reaffirmed his support for Fernández and his commitment to the FP in the face of the next elections.
Bolivar Diaz, who obtained 46.5% of the votes in the last municipal elections in San José de Ocoa and has been councilor on several occasions, highlighted his career and leadership at the head of the chapter house, which he presided over six times.
