Bohemia Urbana premiered yesterday the song “Pitogue”, the first cut of its next album. The single was written by Jaime Zacher, while Axel Carrillo collaborated in the musical production.
The lyrics seek to challenge the “brave” Paraguayan man who is not afraid of wild beasts or ghosts, but with the announcement of the pitogüé he shudders with fear. Thus, the single is dedicated to the little yellow bird that, like a ruffian, has a black spot that crosses its eyes like a mask.
«It is our turn to sing to him, who always sang to us, sometimes even inopportunely. We present the thesis of an exhaustive study and an arduous investigation, thus we leave our argument expressed in poetry and melody, to the rhythm of polka and rock and roll”, the members of Bohemia Urbana announced after the release of “Pitogue”.
The song has its own video clip, which was developed by Ikatu Producciones.
The elaboration and production of the song had the collaboration of the artists Jaime Zacher, Sergio Medina (drums), Juan Medina (percussion), Starky Villagra (bass), Fabrizio Ojeda (guitar) and Gustavo Pedersen (trombone).
