Within the framework of the ‘Capital Talent’ strategy, the Secretariat of Economic Development (SDDE) of Bogotá, in collaboration with the District Employment Agency and 18 private sector companies, has launched a call for 1,390 job vacancies. This initiative, which will be active until September 8, 2024, seeks to offer decent jobs with guarantees for the citizens of the capital.

The job offer, which covers a wide range of positions, includes 850 vacancies that do not require previous experience, as well as 220 positions aimed at people over 50 years of age.
Guillermo Alarcón, Director of Business Development and Employment of the SDDE, expressed his commitment to the creation of employment opportunities for all citizens, highlighting the value of virtual platforms to connect candidates with employers.

“We continue working to generate employment opportunities for all citizens, seeking to ensure that, virtually, job seekers can access various vacancies and apply for those that fit their profile and professional aspirations. In this way, we boost labor productivity by strengthening the connection between employers and local talent.“, Alarcon said.
The available vacancies cover various sectors, including positions forWarehouse assistant, machinery operator, kitchen assistant, customer service advisors, logistics, security guards and drivers with C2 or C3 licenseamong others.
Among the most notable opportunities are: the commercial advisor positions offered by Ishajon SAS Fuera de Serie, which is looking for 20 candidates with at least six months of experience. In addition, the Oxxo Colombia SAS retail chain is looking for 40 young people to fill the position of store advisor in the sales area.

To apply for vacancies, interested parties must register their resume on the official websites: www.bogotatrabaja.gov.co and www.serviciodeempleo.gov.co. The process is simple: You must enter the microsite, select the “I am looking for a job” option and register as a candidate if you are a new user. After logging in, you can search for recommended vacancies based on your profile. Once you have applied for a vacancy, you will receive a confirmation by email.

The offer includes positions such as warehouse assistant, automotive electrical technician, security guard, driver with C2 or C3 license, construction assistant, cleaning operator, call center sales agent, customer service advisor, among others. Profiles are also sought for positions such as commercial sales advisor without experience, debt collection advisor without experience, and cinema operator, among others.
Additionally, On September 5, 2024, the District Employment Agency, in collaboration with Permoda Koaj, will hold a face-to-face employment day aimed at people with hearing disabilities who have their certificate. The offer includes 15 vacancies for clothing operators. Those interested should submit their resume at Calle 20 # 69B – 79, Zona Industrial Montevideo, between 7:00 am and 12:00 pm

The ‘Talent Capital’ strategy not only seeks to expand employment opportunities in Bogotá, but also to promote inclusion and equity in access to employment.
