In recent days, the District Health Secretariat had reported that in Bogotá they had run out of doses of AstraZeneca and were low on Janssen and Sinovac. For this reason, they requested the Ministry of Health to deliver new batches.

The Health portfolio sent some batches in the last few hours. Are they would be used for first and second doses and boosters.
The Ministry of Health confirmed that he received lots of vaccines from AstraZeneca, Sinovac and Janssen. “In total, 134,400 doses were received from the AstraZeneca brand, 186,000 from Sinovac and 163,200 from Janssen,” the entity said in a statement.

HOW WILL THEY BE DISTRIBUTED?
Sinovac vaccines will be used to initiate and complete schemes for boys and girls between 3 and 11 years old. For its part, those of Astrazeneca will be used for second doses and reinforcements.
Finally, those of Janssen, will be allocated over 18 years of age who have not been vaccinated and for reinforcements of people who had already started their scheme with this biological.

They are currently more than 30 vaccination points those that are enabled in the capital for people of any EPS or without one.

By January 23, the District Health Secretariat reported that the city had reached 89.7% progress with complete schemes against covid-19 in the target population to be immunized over 12 years of age, that is, 6,001,867 people.

With cut to January 22, the city exceeded 13 million vaccines in total applied against the coronavirusof which 5,636,857 correspond to first doses, 5,381,984 to second doses or single doses and 1,269,207 to booster doses.
