Bocas del Toro remains the leader of Major Baseball

The team from Bocas del Toro is the sole leader of the 2023 Major Baseball National Championship by defeating Panama Metro by career bulges 17 runs to 3 at the Calvin Byron stadium.

Clusters of 5 scores in the second inning and 8 in the fifth were decisive in the Bocatoreño victory, thus adding their eighth win of the season with only two losses.

Allen Córdoba and Edward Tolo pushed in 3 runs each, while Víctor Acosta drove in 2 and a total of 6 players brought in a run each, in a 15-hit offensive.

The game was won by Wilbur Martínez who pitched 5 innings allowing 6 hits, 2 runs, striking out 5 and giving a walk. Lost the game Cristhofer Cuevas.
