“Today there will not be the back and forth that we have to talk about football, simply to inform you that I presented my resignation. I spoke first with the people of the Council, then with the president and then with the footballers. We are not going to continue our function as a coaching staff,” he announced.
Martínez led Boca in 45 games, of which he won 20, drew 15 and lost 10.
