Racing Club drew goalless against Belgrano
The first day of the Argentine League of Argentine soccer recorded victories for Boca Juniors, River Plate -in the debut of the Demichelis era as coach-, San Lorenzo and Independiente, while Racing Club recorded a goalless draw with promoted Belgrano de Córdoba.
On Saturday, in the first official game with Martín Demichelis as coach after the successful management of Marcelo Gallardo for eight and a half years, River Plate recorded a resounding 0-2 win against Central Córdoba, in Santiago del Estero.
Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Fernández, on his return to the ‘Millionaire’, and Pablo Solari scored the winner’s goals in a match that registered in the previous one a recognition for the goalkeeper Franco Armani, the only world champion who acts in the local league.
