Bob Dylan, the genius of popular music, turns 82

MIAMI, United States. — On May 24, 1941, one of the most prolific and influential singer-songwriters of popular music of the 20th century was born in Minnesota. Listed as Robert Allen Zimmerman, Bob Dylan grew up in a small Jewish community and spent much of his teenage years listening to radio stations that broadcast primarily blues, country and rock’n’roll.
