This Saturday night, a plane from the state-owned Boliviana de Aviación (BoA), which was transporting private passengers, the delegation and under 20 players of the Blooming club and the Minister of Government Eduardo Del Castillo; suffered an incident when taking off from El Alto airport to Santa Cruz.

The head of Government was with his family in the front row and witnessed the mishap of the state airline, according to the journalist Miltón Montero, who was also traveling on board.

In less than 24 hours, two state authorities are witnesses to the mishaps of BoA ships. Yesterday, it was the turn of the Vice Minister of Consumer Defense, Jorge Silva, on flight OB977 with the Santa Cruz – La Paz route, and this Saturday, Minister Del Castillo, in 0980, which covered the La Paz – Santa Cruz route.

Takeoff was to take place at 7:20 p.m. and in view of the delay, the plane’s captain stated -in the first instance- that it was a problem in the valve and then, the lack of fuel.

The crew expressed their annoyance due to the lack of clarity and explanation on the part of the pilots for the incident. Even in a transmission made by the journalist Montero, it was observed how some passengers began to feel fatigued.

Finally, after several minutes of waiting, the captain asked the passengers disembark to board another aircraft.

And when they were all coming down, a second incident was recorded when a policeman tried to arrest a passenger for having claimed the delay. People observed the police officer and the situation was resolved.

After 10:00 p.m. this Saturday, the crew was still waiting at the El Alto airport to be able to board the aircraft and arrive at destinationto the capital of Santa Cruz.
