During the morning of last Wednesday, the National Directorate of Public Procurement (DNCP) published that the company Corporation Sekiura SACEI was awarded for a total value of G. 1,205 million.
It managed to win the tender called “Acquisition of Technical Support Software Licenses – Antivirus (Sbe)” with the ID 395,689. For this tender, offers began to be received from Wednesday, March 23, 2022.
The National Development Bank (BNF) was the institution in charge of carrying out the call for tender number 395,689 under the category of; “Computer, Office, Educational, Printing, Communication and Signage Equipment, Accessories and Programs”, by the type of National Public Bidding (LPN) procedure.
The aforementioned institution awarded one item; 2,000 units of Technical Support Software licenses – Antivirus with a unit price of G. 602,500 (per license).
The aforementioned firm’s legal representative is Nélida Rafaela Aponte de Fischer.
Corporation Sekiura SACEI was the only company that responded to the call.
BACKGROUND
The Sekiura Corporation has already won a total of 100 bids. In total, they add up to G. 13,343 million in contracts with the State (US$ 1.9 million).
Only during the month of April, he obtained two millionaire contracts. One of them with the BNF and the other with the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ). The latter is a tender called “Acquisition of Comprehensive Monitoring Equipment of Redsbe” with ID 405,476 for G. 1,460 million. Adding both contracts, they add up in total; G. 2,665 million (US$ 388 thousand).
With the BNF he has won a total of three contracts. The first for G. 22 million in March 2018 for the acquisition of software (SBE). The second for G. 89 million for the software update (SBE) in September 2019. And the last one already mentioned.
STRIKING ASPECTS
In a similar tender, the Sekiura Corporation awarded 500 licenses to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC) in November last year. The unit price of each one was only G. 318 thousand at that time.

The firm also won a call in August of last year with Cañas Paraguayas SA On that occasion, the value of each license was only G. 290 thousand.
