The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) announced this Tuesday (5) the launch of the BNDES Crédito Digital service. Through the service, micro and small companies will be able to access credit from partner financial institutions quickly and easily.
“Sicredi and BTG have already started operationalizing the new solution on their digital platforms”, informed the BNDES in a note. Credit requests can be made using mobile device applications from partner institutions and also through their respective internet banks.
Financing can be obtained with a fixed rate starting at 1.49% per month and terms of up to 60 months. According to BNDES, companies thus obtain flexibility to invest resources in the purchase of inputs, payroll payments and investments with total predictability of the value of the installments. The contracting procedure takes just a few minutes and the money arrives in the account on the same day.
Innovation is part of efforts aimed at democratizing access to credit, says BNDES. “For the first time, the bank’s solution offering will be viewed directly by the end customer, which will substantially increase the visibility of the BNDES brand within the micro and small segment”, he adds.
The launch of the new service involved an investment of R$1 billion. It is expected that, in the coming months, other financial institutions accredited by BNDES will begin operations.
The integration of different FGI (Guarantee Fund for Investments) products is also planned, with the aim of complementing the guarantees offered by companies and increasing the chances of approval of credit requests.
