The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) provides for the approval of up to R $ 30 billion to finance highway concessions in 2025. The amount would exceed the bank’s record for the sector that happened last year, when R $ 23 were approved R $ 23 , 5 billion. And continue far above the average of the historical series, which is $ 3 billion to $ 5 billion per year.
Estimates for this year were made by the director of infrastructure, energy transition and climate change of the bank, Luciana Costa. It cites as the main reason for this increase the mechanism created by the Ministry of Transport to unlock investments in road roads.

BNDES highlights two “relevant milestones” of the bank’s performance in the road in 2024.
