The Brazilian Aeronautical Company S/A (Embraer) will receive payment of R$1.1 billion, through the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), for the export of eight commercial jets to the North American company Azorra. The E190-E2 and E195-E2 aircraft will be delivered starting this month and throughout 2025 by the manufacturer located in São José dos Campos (SP).
BNDES financing is provided through the BNDES Exim Post-Shipment program, in which the Brazilian bank advances part of the payment to the exporting company, in reais, as soon as the product is exported.
BNDES then receives payment, in installments and in dollars, from the foreign importer.

This is the third BNDES financing of E2 family aircraft to the company Azorra, which specializes in acquiring aircraft and leasing them to commercial airlines.
