The president of Blooming Sebastián Peña leaned towards a definitive suspension of the Closing tournament if the conflicts in our country continue. His statements were made on the program The Most Wanted, on EL DEBER Radio (FM 103.3).
“We see the restart of the tournament as a bit complex. There is even talk of being able to play every 48 hours to reach the 30 dates and that badly or badly causes possible injuries with players or possible setbacks with logistics. Blooming is taking the position, that if these conflicts continue and times are going to be super tight, that the tournament is completed with the application of article 34 of the callPena said.
Shortly after these statements, the Bolivian Football Federation (FBF) Competitions Committee announced the suspension of the date 27 which was to be played between Saturday 29 and Monday 31 October.
Peña also commented that the first celestial team has been training despite the indefinite civic strike in Santa Cruz. The first few days the players arrived by their own means at the clubhouse on bicycles or motorcycles.
The squad had rest on Monday and from Tuesday the club, at the request of the players themselves, bear the costs of transportation on motorcycles so that everyone arrives in good condition to practices.
Blooming is currently in 10th place in the Clausura tournament standings, but in the accumulated table ranks in eighth positionwhich allows him to provisionally take over the last quota for the 2022 South American Cup.
