This Sunday, April 23, the president of the Panameñista Party, José Blandón, ran as a candidate for president in his party’s primaries, which will take place on July 23.
In his speech, he reflected on the 2019 election, where he said he “learned from defeat.”
Now with more experience, he indicates that his proposal seeks to solve the core problems of the country, from education, basic health and the Social Security Fund.
He urged the postulates not to stay in the attacks, we must give people hope, it is possible to have a better country.
“Our country needs water, electricity, Internet service at home, many will believe that it cannot be done, but it can be done, Panama has the resources,” Blandón said.
And he added that “in Panama plans are not needed, the will to do things right is needed, because when the money is not stolen, it is enough to solve the country’s needs.”
Blandón promised that when he became president he would make a connectivity plan with the Panama-David train, which would benefit the interior of the country.
He also spoke about the reduction of expenses and reengineering of the State, he highlighted investments for Colón and other provinces.
The president of the Party said that they are the main opposition group and will seek to lead the Great Alliance.
