“Dear old lady. Correspondences from the political prison (1972-1984)” is the name of the new book written by teacher Nicolás Viera and which has a prologue by teacher Yamandú Orsi. It will be presented this coming Wednesday, October 2, at 7 p.m., at the Rosario Cultural Center, in the city of Rosario.
The activity has the support of CRYSOL, Sitios de Memoria Uruguay and Marcha del Silencio Rosario.
The table will be made up of the author of the book and Blanca Rodríguez.

The work, published by Ediciones del Berretín, deals with the publication of family letters sent by Homero Viera (father of the author of the book) to his mother -Maruja-, between 1972 and 1984 from the Libertad Prison where he was held for being a member of the Movement. of National Liberation – Tupamaros during the last civil and military dictatorship.
