Blackout in Zulia and Táchira: several sectors reported without electrical service this #31Jan

Several sectors of the states of Zulia and Táchira reported failures with the electrical service during the early hours of this Saturday, January 31. Apparently, the blackouts They affected the entities in the west of the country.

Zulia state media reported that the governor of the entity, Luis Caldera, confirmed the interruption of electrical service in the entity. Also He specified that the incident responds to a failure on Yaracuy-El Tablazo transmission line 1, at 400 kilovolts.

In this sense, Caldera mentioned that Corpoelec activated a security contingency plan and deployed technical teams in the state. The staff of the state electricity company would be working to restore service in the affected areas.

On the other hand, it was learned that hours after the failure was recorded, they began to restore the electrical system.
