black friday is officially celebrated this Friday, but the sales they have been active during the previous days. This was assured to Diario Libre by Daniel Jáquez, a vendor at Plaza Lama.
In a visit to the Avenida 27 de Febrero branch of the department store, it was possible to verify the large number of people who were preparing to take advantage of the discounts that, in some cases, reach up to 60% of the original price. The appliance department is the busiest of all.
“Televisions are the favourites. Washing machines and air conditioners are also in high demand,” said Jáquez, adding that an attraction that has motivated customers is that in addition to store sales they have additional discounts and “cashback” when paying with cards from certain banking entities.
As it is expected that sales increase during the weekend, the 27 de Febrero branch will remain open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday. The offers began with the month of November and will remain until Sunday.
