The Argentinian Producer Bizarrap and Colombian singer Shakira performed Friday night on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”the most important late night on American television, in a program where they performed their world hit “BZRP Music Sessions #53” moments after receiving recognition for the four Guinness Records that the song achieved.
Bizarrap’s participation with the Latin star had two segments: in the first They talked about the origin of the collaboration between the two nothing less than in the classic living room of the NBC network studio, located at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York.
Then they played the song live in a reproduction of the already classic set design of the Bizarrap videos -a kind of home studio set up in a room-, and in front of a gallery full of Shakira fans who chanted each verse along with her.
The arrival of the Argentine producer to one of the most important stages of North American TV -the second after Nicki Nicole did it in 2021 to interpret his hits “Wapo Traketero” and “No toque mi naik”- marks a new step in a race that still hasn’t found the roof.
Bizarrap, who is the first Argentine to reach Spotify’s first global position twice (the previous one was with his “Session” with the Spanish Quevedo), he also received the four Guinness Records that he reached with this song since it was released in January.
These were: the fastest Latin song to reach 100 million views on YouTube (two days and almost 22 hours); the most viewed Latin song on YouTube in 24 hours (63 million views); the Latin song with the most plays on Spotify in 24 hours (14,393,342); and the Latin song with the most plays on Spotify in a week (80,646,962).
