Starting this Saturday, February 4, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) will open the vaccination process with the bivalent dose to the general population throughout the country.
The decision approved by President Laurentino Cortizo Cohen seeks to expand the vaccination process against Covid-19, which is carried out by Operation PanavaC-19.
This Saturday, February 4 and 11, the vaccine will be applied at the Soho Mall, Metro Mall, Villa Zaita Mall and the Albrook Terminal shopping centers from 10 am to 3 pm.
The population in general will also benefit from the application of the bivalent vaccine in all MINSA health centers and polyclinics of the Social Security Fund (CSS) throughout the country.
Extramural inoculation days will be held at key points from Monday to Friday, such as the Metro stations in the capital, while state institutions and private companies will be vaccinated in a coordinated manner.
This new vaccine provides greater protection against the original strain and Ómicron, so this stage is implemented considering the summer season prior to carnival and health tours.
The National Government, through MINSA, reiterates to the population the importance of not lowering their guard, maintaining self-care measures and applying their vaccine against Covid-19.
