During the celebration of the forum For peace and against fascism, held at the Venezuelan diplomatic mission in the Syrian capital of Damascus, as part of the international day in rejection of the genocide perpetrated by the State of Israel against the peoples of Palestine, Lebanon and Syria, the ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Syria, José Gregorio Biomorgi, expressed his wishes for a more peaceful and just world
“Today we want to raise our voice for peace and for the consolidation of a more just system,” he expressed. At the event, organized by the Union of Arab Writers, the Venezuelan diplomat was accompanied by the president of the literary organization, Muhammad Horani; as well as his Iranian counterpart, Hussein Akbari; and that of Palestine, Samir Al-Rifai.
In his speech, Ambassador Biomorgi pointed out that “in the year 2023, all European countries had a growth in Gross Domestic Product below the rest of the world, inflation in the United States is one of the highest in history, the economy of Israel is in free fall, and the system is losing control of the world economy,” says a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
