A group of unknown assailants shot at the Tirúa Carabineros police station, in the Biobío region. The incident occurred early Thursday morning. No police officer was injured.
According emmolofficials of the institution carried out an inspection of a vehicle, in which firearm ammunition was found.
Two subjects were detained, but a few minutes later a group of unknown individuals arrived close to the submissive and began to shoot.
Carabineros personnel managed to repel the attack and no officers were injured.
At the moment the number of the attackers is unknown.
