The first lady of the United States, Jill Biden, arrived last night at the airport of the Torrejón de Ardoz military base in Madrid.
Jill Biden landed around 10:30 p.m. this Sunday and will begin her visit to Madrid tomorrow, Monday, where she will star in several events with Queen Letizia, including a visit to the Ukrainian refugee center in the Madrid town of Pozuelo de Alarcón.
Her husband, Joe Biden He will arrive in Madrid on Tuesday, when he will be received by King Felipe VI at the Torrejón military base (Madrid), from Germany, where he will participate in the G7 summit before doing so in the NATO summit in the capital.
The first lady of the United States will have Queen Letizia as hostess, with whom she will share events for four consecutive days.
On Monday morning, Doña Letizia will receive her at the Palacio de la Zarzuela and, later, they will visit the headquarters of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) to learn about the work that this entity carries out against the disease, to the interest of Jill Biden for social issues, an area in which she is very focused in her capacity as first lady.

The agenda of both will continue on Tuesday with a visit to the reception center for Ukrainians in Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid), which the king and queen and their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía, already visited last April.
In the afternoon, they will meet again at the Royal Palace for the dinner that the king and queen will offer to the leaders of the 30 NATO countries that will participate in the summit.
On Wednesday and Thursday, parallel to the meeting of the allied countries, there will be an agenda of events for the consorts of the heads of state and government, where the queen will once again coincide with the American first lady.
They will first go to the Royal Site of La Granja de San Ildefonso (Segovia) to see the fountains in the gardens, visit the royal palace and the Royal Glass Factory, where they will see an exhibition of blown glass.
Later, the spouses will go to the Reina Sofía Museum to see Picasso’s “Gernika” and share a meal.
The program of activities will be completed on Thursday with a visit to the Royal Theater in Madrid, where they will participate in an oil tasting and a talk on the Mediterranean diet, as well as visiting the Coliseum and attending an opera rehearsal.
