Biden signs $40 billion aid for Ukraine

The president of United States, Joe Biden signed a $40 billion bill this Saturday intended to guarantee the supply of weapons and economic support for Ukraine in its conflict with Russia, the White House announced.

Biden signed the text – approved earlier by Congress – during his visit to South Korea, his first trip to Asia as president. The aid, which will be channeled over the next five monthsincludes a budget of $6,000 million for Ukraine to equip itself with armored vehicles and anti-aircraft defense.
