Graciela Bianchi sees political motivations in the assault she suffered at the door of her house

The senator for the National Party, Graciela Bianchi, has unleashed a real political whirlwind after her recent statements about the robbery she suffered at the doors of her home in Prado. On Tuesday night, two thieves on a motorcycle intercepted her at the entrance to her house and snatched her purse and cell phone.

Instead of limiting himself to giving a simple account of the events, Bianchi ignited the debate by suggesting that his criminal experience was not merely an isolated incident, but an attack with absolutely political overtones.

In conversations with the newspaper El País, the white ultra-conservative shot: “I don’t attribute it to anyone, but these things happen.” She said she had “not the slightest doubt” that the thieves who attacked her were related to politics.

He tried to dilute the accusation a little by stating that it is not that he believes that “there is an order from a certain political sector,” but that he sees that these types of events are provoked “when you unleash hate content” and “when you are a supporter of totalitarian regimes”.

The USSR, Venezuela and the ETA? Bianchi says they were trained

The legislator, an avid user of X.com (formerly Twitter), where she has spread a large number of fake news and hoaxes, also took advantage of that platform to disseminate her theory.

Mieres, Roselló and Bianchi. Three politicians from the Republican Coalition, in the course of a month, have been “assaulted” at the DOOR OF THEIR HOUSES, and all three had their CELL PHONES taken. “Is it a coincidence or is someone collecting data for shelving?” questioned the popular user @batlle_star, a coalitionist activist.

To which Bianchi responded: “Don’t worry: I have nothing to hide, but this is the modus operandi of the fascist and communist regimes. By studying a little history you can see it. They try to scare, silence, intimidate with ACTIONS OF HATE; “The ‘hate speech’ thing is for the faint-hearted who don’t want FREEDOM.”

“Someday we will understand that we are facing ‘political’ groups trained in USSR (until it existed), Cuba, Venezuela, ETA, etc.. And they have intelligence and counterintelligence services and a lot of money,” he wrote when the former Minister of Labor, Pablo Mieres, had also been a victim of robbery.

“We must follow the traceability of the things I was saying. I don’t have to change my speech and I’m not going to change. Reality is showing me that unfortunately we are going to have to be prepared for complex things,” Bianchi now added about the assault on her.

“I have colleagues who don’t see it. He who doesn’t want to see it, shouldn’t see it. Then when reality hits you, it’s too late,” he added.

“Uruguay’s problem is not one of security, it is one of cultural marginality,” Bianchi snapped, and added about those affected by this situation: “In cultural marginality these things are everyday. If on top of that they constantly hear talk about the political class, about what we earn, that we are privileged, that we don’t work… The stimulus of hatred and resentment makes people sick.”
