The senator of the Popular Participation Movement (MPP), Daniel Caggiani, shared this Thursday a press article that reported that the gang of Luis Lacale Pou’s former custodian, Alejandro Astesiano, in addition to selling false passports to Russian citizens, provided them with the procedures for renting housing and contracting public services.
“Completed. The gang of the Astesiano case facilitated the rental of houses and the contracting of public services to Russians”, commented the legislator from the Front.
This caused the senator for the National Party, Graciela Bianchi, to feel motivated to respond. “It is better that they end this novel because they have to start worrying about serious and true things,” commented the conservative legislator.
“The more you talk, the more you give yourself away,” Bianchi added.
Caggiani replied to Bianchi again, quoting his answer: “The head of presidential security set up a criminal association on the 4th floor of the Executive Tower that, among other services, sold Uruguayan passports to Russian citizens for thousands of dollars,” said Caggiani.
He added: “I wish it was a novel. But it is the sad reality and we still don’t know everything!
Once again, Bianchi was not silent, and replied: “Lying or distorting the facts and their communication as a systematic practice is not good for those who do it and much worse for the country. The good thing is always to tell the truth because it makes us better people and we make better politics; spontaneously and NOT the product of an investigation”.
