Hotel Jewel Palm Beach to rebrand as Hyatt Vivid Palm Beach, an adults-only hotel in Punta Cana
BHD Bank announced the financing of US$78.8 million to the Anacaona Group for the acquisition, remodeling and rebranding of the Jewel Palm Beach Hotel to Hyatt Vivid Palm Beach, an adults-only hotel located in the province of La Altagracia.
The financing agreement was signed by Luis Molina MaríñezSenior Vice President of Corporate and Business Banking at Banco BHD; Ana Judith Alma Iglesiasrepresentative of the Anacaona Group, and Denis Rosarioregional director of finance and administration of Hyatt “Inclusive Collection” for the Dominican Republic and Colombia.
Molina Maríñez expressed that “the development of tourism in our country is one of the main focuses that we assume at Banco BHD, which is why from Corporate and Business Banking we contribute with advice and financing to projects that, like this one, positively impact the community. local and the sustainable development of the tourist center of Punta Cana. We are pleased to be part of this significant investment for the hotel sector, which also represents the introduction of a new investment group to this area.”
The remodeled hotel plans to begin operations in December 2025, generating more than 3,000 direct and indirect jobs.
