During the meeting, the director of SuchWhichVíctor Amaya presented the 23rd anniversary edition and also the revised version of the Manual of Style in a simple format that can be downloaded in a QR code and becomes a tool for journalism students and teachers to use as reference and reference material regarding various aspects of journalistic writing
In its anniversary month the team of SuchWhich will hold a series of meetings at universities in Caracas, which began this Friday, April 21, with a visit to the Monteávila University (UMA) in which the activity was inaugurated Journalism, beyond writinga space to expand the links between students and teachers of social communication and talk about the panorama of journalism and its possibilities.
The meeting took place in the main auditorium of the UMA where the director of SuchWhich Víctor Amaya, Luisa Quintero, journalist from the outlet and who was in charge of updating the Manual of Style that was presented during the activity. Also representing the UMA were the director of the School of Social Communication, Felipe González and Professor Sabrina Machado.
The style manual was provided via a QR code for students and teachers for easy access and easy sharing. The anniversary edition of SuchWhich; 23 Venezuelan ideas that impacted the world in which visibility was given to the great geniuses created in different fields such as music, cinema, gastronomy, science and history.

A good part of the students who attended and participated in the meeting assured that despite studying Social Communication they have no interest in developing their career in the area of print journalism, since they have a greater inclination for the audiovisual or organizational area; however, many showed interest in how to link their academic experience to later convert that experience into journalistic products and content that have a significant impact on different networks and platforms.
The students expressed concern about how to monetize in a country where there is little advertising and companies that support print media. Director of SuchWhich he recounted the forms of financing through which traditional newspapers survived and how it has changed. “It is still possible to monetize, it is no longer just for advertising but there are several branches to be able to obtain income from your product.”
This activity is the first of a series of meetings that will be held successively at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) and then at the Andrés Bello Catholic University (UCAB) as a space that allows journalistic experience and academic training to be brought closer together in a context social in which the exercise of the profession requires strengthening the trade and reinventing itself.
