Betssy Chávez assures that she does not intend to flee the country

The parliamentarian and former president of the Council of Ministers of the coup , assured that despite having suspended his assigned personal security, he does not plan to flee the country.

“No, I’m going to the ministry. I was in poor health, I presented the document to the Oficialía Mayor, ”he replied when the press approached his home in Magdalena and asked him if he planned to leave the country.

Then, in a statement to another medium and through his social networks, Chávez Chino denied having requested the withdrawal of his personal security and that the minister should demonstrate with what documents he has made such a request.

“The Minister of the Interior has had the tremendous lightness to say that I have dispensed with my security, when this is false,” he assured Latina and then published the video on his social networks.

“That demonstrates with which document I have decided to do without […] I have been with my security at the International Clinic and we sent the Mayor’s Office, when we are in another procedure, in my case it was for a health issue and (my security) accompanied me during the morning, ”he assured.

As recalled, the Minister of the Interior, Vicente Romero, said during the interpellation that was made to him on March 9 in the plenary session of Congress, that Chávez Chino had requested the withdrawal of his security.
