“Beto” Ovelar affirms that the unlocking of lists did not help

Silvio “Beto” Ovelar, candidate for senator for the ANR, affirmed that the unblocking of lists did not finally solve anything. This, in the sense that the lists were going to be cleaned up at the time that citizens can vote for their candidates by name.

“The unlocking does not solve anything, we enter the same heroes. Everyone said that we were going to have a chemically pure parliament. Where are the phD’s that were received at Harvard or Oxford? In politics, one has to win on the field, on the pitch. Serving people, hand in hand is not going to change, ”he said.

He argued that the electoral system shows that it is not perfect, since only those who have structure arrive.

“This model is infraternal. Only the plutocracy benefits. How many people will be in debt with this system. Does not improve rendering. You can have 80% rejection, but with 20% hard vote you occupy your space. Those who said that the debris was going to disappear with the opening of lists were wrong, ”he said.

When asked if he considers himself a “political rubble”, he pointed out that he is a soldier of the party and if they classify him as rubbish, he respects it, since we live in a democracy and we must respect the preconceptions that the media give them.
