Bernal denounces attempted sabotage of the National Electric System

The governor of Táchira state, Freddy Bernal, reported that a gang of six people who were planning to carry out terrorist acts against the Regional and National Electric System was dismantled.

Bernal expressed that “I denounce before the people of Venezuela and the International Community, especially the more than 700 international observers who have come to supervise the transparency of the electoral process tomorrow Sunday #28Jul, that we have dismantled a gang that intended to carry out terrorist acts against the Regional and National Electrical System, which was stopped at the #Ureña electrical substation to blow up the transformers and leave Táchira, Mérida, Trujillo, Barinas, Apure, Zulia and Yaracuy without electricity,” the Governor of Táchira indicated through social networks.

The regional leader said: “No one will disturb our peace, because here there is a firm government that has control of the state and that will prevent any attempt at destabilisation!”
