The feature film The last bluefrom Brazilian filmmaker Gabriel Mascaro, received the silver bear, the second largest prize of the Berlin Festival, this Saturday (22). In dystopian history about aging set in the Amazon, Tereza seeks to fulfill her last wish before being exiled to a housing colony.
The film is a co -production between Brazil, Mexico, Chile and the Netherlands. The cast features names such as Denise Weinberg, Rodrigo Santoro, Miriam Socarás, Adanilo, Rosa Malagueta, Clarissa Pinheiro and Dimas Mendonça.
The Golden Bear, the main prize of the 75th Berlin Festival, went to the Norwegian drama Dreams (Sex Love)by director Dag Johan Haugerud. The plot talks about the sexual awakening of a young woman.
The film, starring Ella Overbye is the last part of Haugerud’s trilogy exploring emotional and physical intimacies.
