As of this month, the National Coordination of Scholarships for Benito Juárez Well-being (CNBBBJ) will begin the dispersion of the first payment in basic, upper secondary and higher education of 2023.
However, parents assured that despite the implementation of the School x School strategy to go directly to public high school schools and complete the registration procedures for new beneficiaries or those who have pending payment orders, there are still very long waiting times
.
María de Jesús, mother of a high school student, narrated that after trying to collect the card from the Banco del Bienestar where her son’s support will be deposited, I did it until the third day, at the branch of the Pradera neighborhood, in the Gustavo A. Madero mayor’s office, but after more than seven hours of staying in the place, because there was only one person to attend to all the scholarship holders, which it is insufficient
.
Regarding the amounts, the SEP recalled that students in basic and upper secondary education will receive 1,750 pesos corresponding to the first two months of payment -January and February-, when the support goes from 840 to 875 pesos per month, while degree will receive 5 thousand 150 pesos.
