Belcorpthe multinational in the world of beauty was recognized for the third consecutive year with the Socially Responsible Company Distinction (DESR), awarded by Peru 2021a non-profit civil association that promotes sustainable development, and the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI).
In the tenth edition of the recognition, the evaluation criteria were based on environmental, social and governance (ASG) aspects, aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. In this way, More than 50 companies, including Belcorp, stood out in the following categories: Ethics and Integrity, Environmental, Impact and Value Chain, Inclusion and Diversity, and SMEs.
Lourdes Montagne, managing director of Belcorp Peru, highlighted the achievement. “We are very happy and proud to be recognized once again for our contribution to sustainability. This motivates us to continue working to generate a positive impact on the lives of our independent consultants, collaborators, consumers, suppliers and society”, held.
She indicated that, since its foundation, the company has been committed to the economic, social and environmental development of Latin America through five axes: female empowerment, extraordinary talent, care for the planet, integrity and transparency, and responsible products.
