Chef Regina Tchelly welcomes Bela Gil to the second unprecedented edition of Xodó de Cozinha this Saturday (14), at 1pm, on TV Brasil. Presenter and guest chef prepare three recipes with jackfruit. The program addresses the use of jackfruit beyond nutrition. The fruit that has medicinal properties and can be consumed right down to the seed. Regina Tchelly and Bela Gil make jackfruit gum curd, fruit coxinha and jackfruit seed ricotta in the second episode of the premiere season of Kitchen Xodó.
During the production, which features a talk about vegetarianism, the two talk about agroecology and its benefits, such as planting poison-free foods. They also debate the strengthening of small farmers and the impact of this science on society and on Brazilian tables.

Presented by chef Regina Tchelly at TV Brasilthe program Kitchen Xodó seeks to encourage healthy and low-cost eating. The debut season has 26 episodes. Each edition features a special guest to prepare recipes with a specific food and talk about a topic. The production welcomes personalities such as Bela Gil, André Trigueiro and Sidarta Ribeiro, among others.
With her affection and charisma, chef Regina Tchelly has a very characteristic language to captivate the public and interviewees of the new television attraction. “The guests are incredible and I’m happy to be together with so many people who are making things happen, showing that it is possible to eat well, in a healthy and accessible way”, he says.
The topics discussed in the production revolve around issues such as sustainability, combating hunger, food seasonality, income generation, entrepreneurship and financial education. Furthermore, the program values traditional and emotional culture, in addition to covering dishes that evoke memories and culinary heritage.
The attraction is recorded in the kitchen of the Favela Orgânica project, an initiative created by Regina Tchelly who has been promoting healthy cuisine in the communities of Babilônia and Chapéu Mangueira, in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, for 13 years. Co-production carried out by TV Brasil with Kromaki, the Kitchen Xodó directed by Pedro Asbeg.
