The former Government Palace official Beder-Camacho is again in the eye of the storm, after the revelation of new videos that coincide with some of the accusations about him. The Republic had access to this content, which was obtained after the PNP Special Team received a warning of Camacho’s intentions to seek asylum for fugitives from the Government of Peter Castle.
The recordings show Camacho Gadea’s visits to the embassies of Mexico and Venezuela, institutions to which the former secretary of the Government of Pedro Castillo went to issue the request for political asylum for Bruno Pacheco, Fray Vásquez Castillo and Gian Marco Castillo Gómez, after they became fugitives for the Shadow Cabinet caseaccording to the hypothesis of the Task Force.
According to the acts of execution for the follow-up of Camacho, to which La República also had access, The first visit that Camacho made was to the Venezuelan embassy, which took place on August 18 of this year at 8:10 in the morning, when he arrived at the building aboard a van he owned.
Camacho Gadea’s visit to the Mexican embassy took place a day later, on August 19 at 10:50 a.m. On this occasion, the investigated former secretary spent 40 minutes inside said institution and then returned to the Government Palace.
This evidence would support the version presented by the effective collaborator of the Public Ministry, who pointed out that Pedro Castillo had a conversation with the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, who even expressed his agreement with said request, but that it was not possible due to that Bruno Pacheco surrendered shortly after.
Meanwhile, Beder Camacho insisted on his innocence, in an interview last Saturday, explaining that he was not part of any cabinet of civil servants who collaborated with the president’s criminal organization thesis from the shadows, which is handled by the Prosecutor’s Office.
Despite this, the investigations against the former secretary of the Government Palace continue, since, among the following procedures to be carried out by the Public Ministry, is the removal of a laptop consigned as his, which will be carried out this Monday the 17th, obtained after the raid on his house last Tuesday.
In this same interview, Giuliana Quiñones, Bruno Pacheco’s former lawyer, pointed out that her former client had gone underground together with her close friend Silvia Barrera.
