The former adviser to the Ministry of Housing Beder Camacho gave an interview five days after the arrests and raids carried out by the Judiciary to those involved in the case shadow cabinetinvolving President Pedro Castillo.
In it, the former trusted man of the head of state reiterated his innocence and that he has not been involved in any act of corruption. “I am relaxed. I think loyalty right now is to my family and my country […] I have never touched a sun of the Peruvian State nor have I taken advantage of the position, ”he said for the informative Real Tiempo Perú.
Likewise, he indicated that he has worked in the presidential office for more than 10 years and clarified that he did not come with the Castillo government, but rather that he is appointed personnel, but that he is currently on leave without pay.
Camacho denied being a member of the shadow cabinet, an alleged criminal organization that would be led by President Pedro Castillo.
“There are personnel (from the Public Ministry) who filter many things, but the Public Ministry has never said who the person is (aspiring to be an effective collaborator). We are waiting for this case to be resolved. I have never been a member of a shadow cabinet”, emphasized the former secretary of the Palace.
Finally, he added that he has received threats from an unknown number, but that he is calm because he trusts his innocence.

It should be noted that, according to the version of an effective collaborator, Beder Camacho would have gone to the Government Palace to collect four notebooks and cell phones from the hostesses, which he would later burn and throw into the sea. This at the request of President Pedro Castillo in order to disappear “all the records that could link him to the businessman Samir Abudayeh.”
In addition, according to the prosecutorial team, Beder Camacho would have “executed” the coordination with the embassy of Venezuela and Mexico in May and August 2022, by “disposition” of the president, in order to protect Bruno Pacheco.
