The president of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), José Ignacio Paliza, affirmed yesterday that there is publicity everywhere about presidential candidates, violating current electoral laws and without the Central Electoral Board (JCE) taking measures to counteract it.
“There is publicity everywhere with elected presidential candidates and all levels of electoral violations without the JCE having assumed a clear and defined position as requested,” said the politician and administrative minister of the Presidency.
In this sense, Beating He called on the body to maintain order, clearly establishing what is allowed or not.
The PRM president’s statements came after the conclusion of a meeting of the Executive Directorate of the ruling party, held in a hotel in the capital, where the general secretary Carolina Mejía and the secretary of organizations, Deligne Ascención, were also present.
He recalled that an agreement was signed to stop the campaign out of time, but that the opposition organizations have not complied with the mandate, established in the Organic Law of Electoral Regime 15-19 and in Law 33-18 of Parties, Groups and Movements.
The official spoke about it, hours after the JCE said that the elections are at risk due to the lack of economic resources, especially 2,050 million for the assembly of the internal primaries of the parties, scheduled for October 1, 2023.

In addition, the president of the JCE, Román Jáquez, has been demanding that these aforementioned laws be modified, which, among other things, allows the electoral body to have greater regulation of proselytizing activities.
During the perremeista meeting, the electoral schedule that the JCE with a view to the upcoming electoral processes, the challenges they have to comply with that schedule and the party tasks to develop were known.
