A woman who was beaten and dragged in the middle of a public road by a man, who shouted for help through a recording, is already under the protection of the authorities, the National Police reported this Sunday night.
“The perpetrator has been identified and staff of the @PoliceRD works on his location and capture,” National Police spokesman Diego Pesqueira wrote in a tweet.
“He tried to kill me,” the bloodied woman quoted in a video circulating on social networks, where she said that the neighbors witnessed what happened.
“They don’t want to pay attention to me, skinny. I need help, skinny. There is no justice here, skinny,” continued the victim of gender violence.
He narrated that both the National Police and members of the National Emergency System (911) went to the scene of the event, however, they told him that the next day “you cannot make a complaint.”
Neither the Police nor the victim indicated where and when the attack occurred, but the video shows that a man hits her several times and she tries to dodge the attack. She has several bags with products in her hands and wobbles when walking due to the hits.
