Brazilians Evandro and Arthur Lanci advanced to the round of 16 of the beach volleyball tournament at the Paris Olympic Games (France) after defeating Canadians Schachter and Dearing 2-0 (sets 21/13 and 21/16) this Wednesday (31).

The Brazilians’ next match, in the last round of Group E, will be against the Czech Republic duo Perusic and Schweiner, starting at 4 pm (BrasÃlia time) next Friday (2) in a clash that will define the first placed team in the group.
The men’s beach volleyball tournament at the 2024 Paris Games features 24 pairs divided into six groups of four teams. In addition to Evandro and Arthur, Brazil also has the duo André and George.
The top two teams in each group will advance to the round of 16, along with the two best third-placed teams. There will also be a play-off for the other four third-placed teams who will compete for the two remaining spots.
