According to a note published by the BCV, the third quarter (July-September) of 2024, accumulated inflation was 3%, thus being the lowest variation since this index was prepared on a national scale.
Inflation for the month of September was 0.8%, according to information published by the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV), which represents the lowest in the history of this month, since 2008.
In this sense, inflation in September slowed down compared to the previous month, since the INPC rose 1.4% last August.

The year 2023 closed with accumulated inflation of 116.7%, after the first two months (January-February) with acceleration of more than double digits.
During 2024, inflation marks records of 12.5 in the first nine months, which could project a year-end of minus 15%, which would be the lowest inflation in more than a decade.
