The year-on-year growth of personal loans accelerated from 13% in April to 14.7% in May, reported this Sunday the Central Reserve Bank (BCR).
He pointed out that this impulse was favored by the greater loans of this modality in soles that accelerated to 16.2% in the fifth month of the year (14.3% in April).
Along these lines, consumer credit went from a year-on-year expansion of 17.2% in April to 19.8% in May, while mortgage loans advanced at a year-on-year rate of 8.1% in May, higher than the 7.5% of the previous month, reported .
In monthly terms, loans to individuals grew 1.7% in May, the tenth consecutive month of increase, explained by the advance of consumer loans (2.1%) and mortgages (1%), specified the BCR.
