The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic reported this Tuesday that as of 18th of this month will circulate in the country new RD$1,000 billwhose date of issue indicates the year 2021.
He stated that this bill was ordered through an international public tender in January 2021 and that it has the same security characteristics as the other bills of the same denomination (RD$1,000) currently in circulation.
The entity released the information through a notice that also indicates that these notes “will maintain their liberating force for the payment of all public and private obligations.”
