The number of reports issued by the Registrato surpassed the 100 million mark in February, the Central Bank (BC) reported this Tuesday (24). The total considers the period since the launch of the tool, in 2014.
Registrato is a digital service that allows citizens and companies to consult information registered with financial institutions for free, such as whether a fraudster opened a bank account, a Pix key or contracted a credit transaction in their name.
According to the BC, the tool has established itself as one of the main initiatives for monitoring financial life, by bringing together data in a single environment.
Among the most issued reports are:
- Loans and Financing (SCR): 45.5 million issues;
- Accounts and Relationships (CCS): 23.2 million;
- Pix Keys: 13 million.
Consultation on loans and financing leads the search, reflecting users’ interest in monitoring debts, credit limits and operations contracted with financial institutions.
In a note, the BC explains that the centralization of information facilitates the organization of data and expands citizens’ ability to monitor and understand their own operations in the financial system.
