BC postpones single sign-on requirement for Registrato access

As of March 1, citizens will need an account on the Gov.br Portal to access Registrato, the Central Bank (BC) system for consulting financial data. The change, which would take effect tomorrow (1st), was postponed by a month.BC postpones single sign-on requirement for Registrato access

In a note, the BC informed that the postponement occurred to “give citizens more time to adapt to the new format of access to the Registry without facing major inconveniences”.

The circular with the new form of access to the Registry had been approved in September by BC. At the time, the agency informed that it granted a few months of time to allow citizens who did not yet have an account on the Portal Gov.br to create the Login.

Registration for the gov.br account is free and can be done at any time, quickly and simply, on the page https://www.gov.br/pt-br/servicos/criar-sua-conta-gov.br. THE Login allows access to the portal, both by computer and mobile devices.

According to BC, most users prefer to use conta.gov.br to access the body’s services offered through the single portal, even when there are other options. THE single sign-on was used in 97% of the accesses to Fale Conosco, in 94% for the Digital Protocol and 82% in the case of the Electronic Declaratory Registration – Foreign Direct Investment.

Through the Register, citizens can consult free information about debts with banks and public bodies, returned checks, bills, Pix keys and exchange operations. The system allows, for example, check if the CPF was used by third parties.
