BBVA Mexico reports failures in its transfer service

“We apologize for the inconvenience caused,” the bank said in a brief statement on social media.

The intermittencies in the service occur from midnight, according to Banxico.

BBVA México is the bank with the largest number of clients in the country with 27 million clients. The bank has a network of 1,727 branches and 13,783 ATMs.

The Interbank Electronic Payment System (SPEI) is the payment infrastructure of Banco de México that allows its banks and other financial institutions to send and receive payments in real time.
